Luigi is a former Career Diplomat from Venezuela with an extensive international career as a foreign diplomat and multilateral negotiator. He has served in Geneva, New York, Mexico and Washington D.C., and has been an international civil servant at the Organization of American States as a Director of the Department for Conferences and Meetings Management.
He has also contributed with the conference logistics of the last three Summits of the Americas in Port Spain, Trinidad and Tobago; Cartagena, Colombia and Panama City, Panama.
At ARM, Luigi takes care of the governmental, small business and woman-owned business certifications. He is the one in front of ARM’s corporate affairs and assists in federal contracts.
Luigi creates business plans and strategic plans for both ARM and our clients. He is also a skilled bilingual writer and is a regular columnist of the “El Tiempo Latino”, Spanish version of the Washington Post. His articles for our clients have been published in both the printed and online versions of these newspapers.
Luigi holds an International Relations Degree from the Central University of Venezuela, an International Negotiations Certificate from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and Institute of Advanced International Studies (IHEI), Geneva, Switzerland, and a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Georgetown University, Washington D.C., USA. He also completed the Emerging Leaders Program, an Executive Certificate in Business Administration sponsored by the Small Business Administration (SBA). He is Professor of International Negotiations at different Diplomatic Academies and Universities within the Americas.
Busy as he can be, Luigi always sets time aside to enjoy a glass of good wine, enjoy time with his family, and travel.
A Spanish native-speaker Luigi is also fluent in English and French and has extensive knowledge of Italian and Portuguese.
